YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
10AM Sunday’s for youth ages 3 to 17. Breakfast served.

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY
Our Wednesday’s 4:30PM-6:00PM, Lite Dinner Served. This coming year we will be splitting the Youth Bible Study into two groups. Children under age 11. And Youth who are in Middle and High School. Middle School Youth are presently enrolled in Confirmation Classes that meet weekly. There are numerous activities that the young people at Zoar participate in.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
A Women’s Bible Study group that reaches out to the marginalized in our community. Programs include trips, the study of Women in the Bible, movies, discussion groups, reading, and interviewing skill workshops, all focused on empowering women to walk in faith and serve the Lord daily.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Weekly Adult Sunday School from September to June at 10AM. This coincides with the youth Sunday School Program that has been on-going. We are blessed to have one of our distinguished members, Rev. Herbert Palmer, Retired Elder, from the EPAUMC, to lead our Sunday School Class.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Wednesday’s 6:30PM-8PM. We are currently journeying through the Book of Isaiah. Everyone is welcome to join in at any time.

SUMMER CAMP
A 5 week summer camp program for children ages 5-16 years. Average
attendance 25. Includes trips, arts and crafts, and the Carson-Simpson
Farm trip.

CITY SKIES PROGRAM
Mother Zoar UMC was accepted into the Franklin Institute's City Skies Program. Through a partnership with NASA, The Franklin Institute encourages youth to study astronomy. This is an on-going ministry event. We have had over 25 children and youth who participate thus far. We plan to continue our partnership and work with the Science Educators at the Spring Garden School. We are looking forward to continued collaboration.

PERFORMING ARTS MINISTRY
Adults and youth participate in performances throughout the year. Includes plays, songs, dance, and skits.

VINTAGE SAINTS MINISTRY
The seniors at Mother Zoar meet every Tuesday at 10AM for fellowship, prayer, visiting the sick and shut in, trips, and Bible Study.


Community Outreach Activities

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
A yearly ministry where the church donates funds that are used to buy
school supplies for children in the community.

FOOD BASKETS
Food baskets are distributed to the community during Thanksgiving.

FLEA FREE DAY
A community event that was started this past October in partnership with New Life Ministries where items such as clothes, shoes, handbags, housewares, dry foods, and produce were distributed free to the community. Free Hot Dogs and soda were also provided to attendees. We are planning to hold this event twice per year, Fall and Spring.

United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men continue to engage with the community by continuing outreach activities. In September 2014 a breakfast will be offered as a thank you to the firefighters in our community. A special program is being planned so that our firefighters are honored. This will be followed by a special men’s day worship service.

United Methodist Women
The UMW are engaged in activities that vary yearly. For 2014-2015 the UMW will be gathering clothes and supplies for Men Women and Children for distribution in Nursing Homes, and Homeless Shelters in our surrounding community.

SPRING GARDEN SCHOOL COLLABORATIONS
Continue to partner with the Spring Garden School by providing an avenue for spiritual growth, graduation services, and most improved luncheons. We are looking forward to future collaborations.

Vintage Saints
Meets every Tuesday at 10AM for fellowship, charity events/drives, food, trips, and fun. Bible Study is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday, and there are various events and celebrations held throughout the year.

Adult Bible Study
Meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm with the exception of the month of August.. In addition every first Wednesday of the month we have a service of prayer and praise.
